11 Feb Hello World!
The year was 2000, I was first inspired to write a blog after reading an article about the then-famous tennis player, Anna Kournikova, who shared her reflections of daily adventures with her fans. Would anyone be interested in the ADD life of a tv shopping host who each day learned a little about a lot of things, but not much about anything at all? I chose at the time to hold-off, thinking I might just accidentally share too much company information. In retrospect, an interesting example of overthinking things.
Sixteen years, three shopping networks and one child later…the world is a different place and I have celebrated my adventures each day. So I’m inspired to share. Share what? Solutions for busy moms, time saving ideas, staying sane in wacky situations and insights about inspiring people. We are all not so different after all.
When I moved across the country to start a new job with a two year old daughter and an Aupair from the Ukraine that I had never met in person, our family motto became “We can do anything.” With enough clarity, focus, prioritizing and simplifying this motto still holds true for us today.The key is for me is to chose wisely what I want. We may not be able to do everything, but we can do anything!
