Whether hosting or producing, Lea Little knows her way around television. With over 9,000 hours of live national television hosting, Lea has developed quite a fan base. Best known for her home-shopping shows in over 90 million homes, Lea says, “I am so grateful to have found such a fun and rewarding career helping people find products that enhance their lives and make them feel good.”
If you’re a shopper you will recognize her from almost 15 years in the home shopping industry. From hosting exotic jewelry shows to featuring the latest electronics and home solutions, Lea has shared insights on cooking and kitchen gadgets in the HGTV Dream Home and offered everything from camcorders and computers to home theatre systems and portable entertainment items for Circuit City television specials. With over $420 million in sales to date, her product presentations specialties also include health & beauty products and home accents. She launched the first branded line of jewelry on Jewelry Television, called Bella Luce. Recently she has hosted various infomercials including Maxiglide hair care products and Hearthware kitchen gadgets.
Currently Lea is the national spokesperson for HSN brands including Panasonic, iRobot, Canon, Garmin, Philips, Magellan, GPX, Polaroid, Vivitar, CarMD, Honeywell and Tagg Pet Products. In addition, she is a featured electronics guru on The Shopping Channel in Canada.
But her television talents extend well beyond her sales ability. Local morning shows have enjoyed her product presentations and expertise. She serves as a spokesperson for law firms across the country and has volunteered on-air for PBS for over 12 years.
Lea began in the television industry as an entertainment journalist producing the “Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader Special” while still in college. She then continued learning the production ropes with Westcott Communications, home to seven national networks at the time. In the early ‘90s, she helped originate the news magazine program, “Hot, Hip & Country.” In addition to producing field stories and interviewing celebrities across the country, she launched the Nashville office and was instrumental in taking the show to national syndication. She was later recruited by the WB Network to serve as Director of Production & Promotions overseeing image campaigns and marketing, all while doubling as on-air personality for the station…and moon-lighting on a small shopping network called MOR Galleria.
Raised in Dallas, Texas by an actress mother and minister father, Lea has quite a mixed bag of high drama and high standards. She graduated from the University of Texas in Dallas with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. She is also an Accredited Jewelry Professional with certification from the Gemological Institute of America. Her favorite hobby—outside of shopping, of course—is beach volleyball. The joy of her life is her beautiful daughter, Victoria Lauren.
